Continuous improvement Plan
The Continuous Improvement Plan is guided by these principles: Know your Students, Design Focused Instruction, Communicate Clear Learning Targets, Analyze Data, Provide Appropriate Feedback. (What is taught, tested, graded, & reported are in alignment).
The Valley School District Continuous Improvement Plan (CIP) is an action plan that identifies:
· areas we plan to focus on in the current school year
· the performance goals that we want our students to achieve
· how we plan to collaboratively meet these goals
Our schools use data to drive these action plans and focus areas. The CIP also gives us direction in coordinating our teacher professional development, aligning instructional practices, and choosing curriculum resources.
