Our Story

Before the Valley School District came into existence, there were two separate school systems for Hazelton and Eden. (Hazelton High School, pictured here. Go Badgers!)

Eden High School was home of the Grizzlies.

In 1953 Valley School District was consolidated and the Eden High School became a Senior High School and the building in Hazelton became a Junior High School.

Ground was broken for the construction of the new Valley High School building.

Construction commenced on the New High School building.

The new High School was completed in time for the 1954-1955 school year.

The graduating class of 1955 was to be the first to graduate from the new building. The old High School buildings in Eden and Hazelton became elementary schools.

The High School at 8 years old.

Forty years after the completion of the original Valley High School, construction began to expand the High School into a K-12 building for the Valley School District.
